Fair, I've only beat F-Zero SNES and F-Zero GX.
I've been meaning to get to F-Zero X but for now I will live in shame that I have not done so yet.

F-Zero is good, X is really good (despite being ugly as sin), and GX is pretty good too (it's actually made easier than X).

i remember playing super smash bros on n64 and thinking captain falcon was the coolest motherfucker ever so i rented his game and it was way too hard for me as a kid and i cried out of frustration trying to beat some of the races. fast forward several years later i tried his game on the gamecube and it was even harder than the n64 one, so i never played an f zero game ever again. maybe i just sucked cock at racing games but i remember f zero games being really difficult, especially compared to mario kart

Mother 3 wouldn't have nearly as much love and acclaim if it ever got a western release, and this craze for it bleeds into the other two games to keep the narrative up that this is some golden series and that it's such a crime that the third game will never see an official localization.
