>Snake, you infiltrated the 4chan imageboard. Your mission is to reach page 10 without being noticed. This mission is classified and the US government will deny any involvement if you were to be caught, avoid any (You)s unless strictly necessary. Proceed with utmost care.
>Four-chan?
>4chan is an online imageboard that functions like a forum dedicated to various topics with an infamously bad moderation system that allows its pseudo-anonymous users to post misleading and misinformed opinions often resulting in threads getting derailed into unhinged rants about current news and politics. When a new thread is created the users can "bump" it with replies so that it stays on the front page and gets more views and potential replies, at the same time a thread can receive a "sage" which is the opposite of a "bump", a saged thread falls off first page until it gets to page 10 where it gets deleted. This a self-regulating system that rewards popular and new content with a side-effect of promoting controversial bait posts and overshadowing quality and high-effort posts that don't receive nearly as many replies.
>An imageboard, huh. But why am I here? What four-chan has to do with my mission?
>We received anonymous tips about important information regarding an unauthorized production of a new metal gear model by a group of ex-FOXHOUND members. According to our intelligence said information is currenly on page 10 and is about to be deleted. Bad actors are flooding the board with bait threads to flush this vital evidence off the board, you must make it to page 10 before the thread gets deleted Snake,
>From my briefing I remember someone mentioning an archive, Colonel what can you tell me about it?
>Yes there's indeed an archive but we can't confirm the identity of its owner since he suddenly disappeared a week ago, in other words we don't have a guarantee that the information regarding the new metal gear won't be tampered or altered before getting added to the archive.
