DS 1 is the easiest Fromsoft game. Its just terribly designed and wastes your time.

For me, it's the Great Scythe + Pyro.

Dark Souls is hard if you actually try to play every encounter without cheese. Modular game design means the difficulty is entirely agnostic to any build or skill level. AC6 tried to offer a different idea of this but it went too far and basically forced the player to use certain tools over others.

Demon's Souls is easier. The exploration is also less convoluted, because in DS1 everything has to connect to each other to give you shortcuts.

Take black firebombs as gift, jump into lower burg, kill capra demon with bombs, get pyro. You might not even need the gift, the free bombs in firelink and burg might be enough if you don't fuck up at all.

Any noob, who explores thoroughly, is going to get the Zweihander as soon as he reaches the first vendor and picks a certain type of weapon to deal with the Skeletons. No one is going to be able to find the gravesword quickly.

Certain enemies reliably drop healing grass, which means if you are good enough, you will end every run through a level with more healing items than you started with. And you can have 99 items of any type in your inventory. I still recommend it though. Play the original on RPCS3, not the remake. The remake ruined the aesthetics of the game and exploration is more important than the bosses in Demon's Souls, because eventually they become kinda easy.

It makes gank encounters easier to deal with.
