Eventually the only winning play is just realizing a lot of people here are just miserable and just want to find ways to be perpetually miserable and angry in a way adjacent to video games because their brains are fried from rage engagement so they just want (You)'s. Look at how many threads are made about games people aren't interested in, they just want to be mad about it or anything because it's got a black woman in it or there's some eceleb nonsense adjacent to it. This place has been plagued by twitter threads for the last ten years.
The only reason I'm still here after almost two decades is because it's still the one place on the internet that you can discuss anything that isn't big AAA shit. But you just gotta make sure there's a decoy rage thread or just make the thread at like midnight when the kids are in bed.
