Even as alt universe Tawna shed be fine, but you also need regular universe Tawna. You can't have NUtawna and completely ignore that there's an old Tawna.
If you wanted to be a real fucking grown up about it you do NuTawna and oldTawna going Olsen twins in their own side arc, oldTawna is jealous of how strong and autonomous nutawna is, but then have NuTawna admit she's jealous of OldTawna because NuTawna is only as strong and tough as she is because she had to be because her Crash, who she loved, is gone. This gives OldTawna clarity that there's nothing wrong with being pretty and not necessarily a big tough badass bitch

and worst of all is just the simple fact that she is SUCH an obvious fucking replacement for a character that a lot of people wanted to return but that is seen as a "damsel in distress" or "problematic" by leftist standards. That's really the biggest issue. Had they BOTH existed in the game when I would have welcomed her inclusion as alternative reality hi-jinks, but the fact that they basically used her as a way to write out another character with something more fitting "modern audiences" is what makes me hate her and the people that designed her so much.
