I've been playing the remaster, can someone explain to me how the cosmetic gear you can get from the minigames works? I'm playing bravely default for the first time. I just got to the cave where I'm supposed to get threads to make a new holy vestment or whatever.

It's okay I guess. Does it get better, or is it just this for the rest of the game? Honestly the brave system is killing the game for me. I thought it would make the game more strategic, but it just makes random encounters more high maintenance and repetetive. There's very little reason to not just brave 4 times with every character and just blitz the enemies on the first turn. so now instead of just spamming fight, every easy encounter, I have to spam L 4 times, and then fight 4 times per character
