That's literally part of how I've beaten the map on Lunatic every time I've run it. Mozu plus Effie has enough bulk to survive the archers, and since she easily doubles she's killing every one of them in a single round. Switch to Effie for the lancers (one rounded because you crippled them with Mozu/Ballista) and then sip up during your free turn so Mozu can tank/one round three more archers. Ironically the only way the strat could even possibly go wrong is if Mozu crits too many times and doesn't get pair-up guard. And I'm always running a good Mozu because she's very good at solving a few issues, such as the boss of Chapter 9.

You can easily get Mozu to level 5 by feeding her a lot of exp by chipping down the boss faceless before killing him on her join chapter which unlocks right after Chapter 6. By Chapter 10 she’s flying easy.

I often have Mozu hit level 5 promoted before other people since she's so reliable at killing enemy units.

mozu still oneshots chapter 10 fliers as a level 1 archer so she doesnt even really need babying though...

This Odin is not realistically threatened by the left side axeniggers. This is a *base* level Odin, mind, with the absolute minimum of resources you would offer to a unit for a good performance in Ch. 10. If he gains any levels whatsoever - and particularly if he reaches level 10 for Malefic Aura - he fares even better here.

Keep in mind with all this, he has guard meter, so he's entirely nullifying an attack every few rounds. He's amazingly durable against this lot of enemies.

There ARE a few paired Onis and a steel club Oni to watch out for, but again, the basic thrust is that Odin performs well here. There is no intellectually valid reason to suppose he doesn't.

Vow of Friendship is functionally equivalent to adding +3 Str/Mag/Def/Res. Jakob gets Defender early so you add +1 across the primary combat stats. His one meaningful lead on Silas for combat is speed. Silas hits just as hard and has comparable bulk without eating up your first Heart Seal that you could put towards whoever the fuck you want.
His one relevant niche is picking up shit like Inspiration/Trample/Replicate early, not being some untouchable combat god that you have to seal over for right away.

A lot of bosses on CQ lunatic have pretty shaky hit rates, the reliable damage from a sniper is really nice on top of the fact that Mozu can pretty easily double things with a fairly high crit chance on top of that.
Actually one of the more fun Mozu builds is to let her jump into Fighter for two levels for Gamble. Sniper accuracy counteracts the hit loss and you can get really high crit rates with killer bow on deck. It's a funny way of just deleting bosses.

Speaking of Elise I've been thinking about maybe making her a rally bot. Friendship with Aqua for Speed, she already natively gets Def and Res too. Other option would be to go the reverse way. He gets Def rally from his own class and then can reclass thanks to his mom to finally get Speed rally.
