It was priced very fairly by Nintendo standards. And it sold extremely well. It wasn't just a low effort compilation, they actually put some muscle into it. The only really stupid thing they did was the FOMO business model, but that was actually more evil than stupid.

You're going to punish Nintendo for thinking out of the box? Excuse the pun. I wish more people in the industry tried to be as bold.
>>doesnt remember nintendo only lets you rent old roms
I'm not fond of having to pay the NSO tax. But it's not like Nintendo invented this scam and doesn't have to respond to their shareholders if they fail to deliver. At the very least, the NSO succeeded in curating a list of very interesting games.
>>doesnt remember their shitty joy con stick quality
True.
>>doesnt remember how they wanted you to voice chat on switch 1
Nintendo not wanting to expose themselves to legal liability isn't their own fault.
>>doesnt remember the e3 2008 press confrence
As far as public showings go, Nintendo seriously punches way above its weight, especially compared to Sony and Microsoft. So I'm not even sure what your argument is here. And why isn't it a good sign that you have to roll back almost 20 years to find a genuinely embarrassing Nintendo conference?
>>doesnt remember how they fucked up by letting sony become its own entity in the gaming market
This is a way more complicated issue than you're portraying it as. Playstation was going to happen. Nintendo simply avoided a deceptive and hostile business dealing.
>>doesnt remember the fucking cdi games
Never happened.
