This game is awesome, but it's also got aaaaive skill ceiling. If you're okay with being absolutely shit on for your first 30 games, go for it. It is a lot of fun. Just play something like TDM to get a feel for the shooting, movement and gadgets, then quick cash, then world tour.

For your first 50-100 hours you're going to eat shit and have the time of your life. You'll wonder why every game isn't this good. After that it either becomes a mainstay in your library for casual gaming. Your main competitive mode, or you'll uninstall it because you got filtered. Game is a solid 10 and unironically the best competitive multiplayer FPS ever made. Any negatives in the game can be overlooked because you'll find the same issues in every other FPS game. Minus TF, but that game is full of troons so it doesn't matter.

Everyone will be on gamepad with one of these. You will be raped and there will be nothing you can do about it save doing the exact same thing yourself.

It's all tryhards now. Funnel players into 1v1 engegements with equipment, have good aim and you'll be fine. SBMM will also regularly screw you over once you get good enough so play with friends
