The battery life is surprisingly good on this too. Played through all of DKC Returns HD without charging it. Definitely my new top rec for third party symmetrical.

I tried it, the DPad broke, and it was too small compared to the OG Saturn/8BitDo disc.

The worst aspect of the Saturn controller was how rattly and mismatched the buttons were. I much prefer the diamond layout with shoulder buttons, but maybe I've just learned to cope with the fact that we'll never have a perfect Saturn controller with twin sticks. These controller companies don't want to release a perfect product, they'd rather release iterative products so that they have a steady stream of revenue.

Between choice shipping and coupons, it was cheaper than not to order this noname chink Saturn pad. I expect nothing from a controller that costs negative money, but I'm interested in seeing how the d-pad compares to Elves 2. At worst hopefully it'll serve for spare parts.

It shouldn't break PERIOD!

The only time mechanical is better is when it's masking flaws in a mediocre d-pad design. No such problems on the Elves 2.

It's pretty small, since it's Saturn inspired. Small enough to fit in a pocket.
Has grips unlike (S)NES, with a comfier shape than DS1-3.
