So, question for all of you Nipponophiles. Obviously the intended way to play games from Grorious Nippon is to have the audio in a different language and read the subtitles. But the Grorious Yamato Master Race speaks Japanese natively. So they have a fundamentally different experience than what you intend, since they don’t have to read subtitles. So how do we fix this? Obviously the audio must be in Nipponese, but it must not be understood. Thus, I propose two solutions: either turn it into gibberish that sounds Nipponese, or make the VAs say lines that are totally different and unrelated. Either way Nipponese will finally play in the way that us defenders of the emperor do.
