Reapers want you dead, I hate how fucking many there are on the map. It takes ages to kill them all.
Ghosts are chill, they want you to GTFO of their house but they don't pursue much.
Sea Dragons are dicks but at least they stay in their hotbox for the most part and there's only like 3. Also they hunt reapers which gives them bonus points, the red fucks don't even get to claim to be apex predators kek

That game takes on a whole new level of NOPE in VR. The actual scale of everything in the game doesn't actually come to life until you see it in VR.

No lmao.
Don't forget she sailed on its body for literal months, if not more than a year, to reach the south pole, all the while dodging ghost leviathans because she was out in the open, empty ocean.

when i played ages ago right after 1.0, i was going to the aurora in the murky water to fix the reactors. i was nearly eaten 4 times.
when i played again a couple years ago i did 3 laps around the aurora and never heard so much as a distant screech from a reaper.

Well, animals are a lot like people, OP. Some of them act badly because they've had a hard life or have been mistreated. But, like people, some of them are just jerks.

no. the people who made below zero also forgot the mc of the first game cured the virus and put in the distribution system so the peepers could distribute it planet wide and yet the villains were still there trying to mess with the virus.

>What was his problem?

New thing in the water.
Bite new thing. Acquire context.
Lots of marine animals have sub-par vision and see the world through smells and electromagnetic signals, so the only way to get a good read on something is to unfortunately bite it.

So from what I heard, the tip of their nose is a huge bundle of nerves or something. So when you rub it you're kind of briefly shocking them, or like overloading their ancient brains. They don't really like it, so they turn away after a little bit. I don't think it hurts them, but I don't know that they particularly like it. They usually turn back after swimming away cus they're naturally curious.
