Is this the best RPG on the market?
And yes, after some looking for discussions on the webs, I realize that there's lots of "journalists" saying that.
I've recently discovered this game after just looking at steam sales, and I just kinda happened across this game.
The premise and visuals actually gripped me, as well as the promise of character depth. Mutations letting you have multiple arms, legs, turtle shell, wings, or even cybernetic enhancements. Dynamically generated, deep simulation of virtually every object. That stuff is cool.
I have about 8 hours, and my most successful run so far was with a Praetorian Prime ( the sword and board dude, with a fucking gun no less ).
My exploration, curiosity, and frustration is touched in a way that I haven't felt since I first played Noita a year ago. I have about 700 hours in that game, another gem that I recognize a cult classic, yet haven't found until years later.
>nice blog post
Anyways, this game seems to promise depth and has some genuinely engaging rpg mechanics.
Why is there such little discussion of this game? Does it fall flat at some point, or is the appeal more in theory than the game itself?
Either way, I plan to play this game for a while and find out. Just wondering where all the talk about it is.
Anyways, discuss and post fun stories, encounters, and builds.
