Pirate's curse is definitely the highlight. It also helps Inti's art style is great.

Pirate's Curse also benefits a lot from not having transformations, a thing that Seven Sirens also benefits a lot from "Not having".
As fun as the transformations are, they were implemented in the most interesting way in the fucking Gameboy Color, and even then they break up the flow of gameplay like fuckin crazy.
