there are two problems with AC6 to me (seeing it from the POV of trying to be its own game rather than akin to any previous AC game)
>1. stagger mechanic waters down the game a lot
>2. they want a no iframes hitbox dodging game, which is good, except they dont have interesting enough enemy attacks
>>2.1. Dark Souls 2 unironically had so much figured out that would fit perfectly in AC6, combine that with some ideas from sekiro and you get awesome melee. But almost everything in AC6 is just about blandly spacing out or moving completely out of the way rather than cool dodging
>>2.2 The ranged side is also usually stale, ranged enemy attacks are a meme 90% of the time. Balteus had extremely interesting ranged attacks with the ranged flurry shit but they completely nerfed it to the ground so it no longer takes a brain to dodge
>3. holy shit the normal enemy encounters are so boring
