If you're saying the remake doesn't surpass the original in atmosphere and gameplay, you're trolling. The games are 15 years apart. The original was good for it's time but I would rather play through the remake again the original.

The remake doesn't hold a candle to the original in terms of direction, lighting, framing, performance etc. It constantly perverts the intention of the original in order to supplement this deficiency.
