I moved to NC a few years ago and this is 100% true. They've literally taken over every fast food establishment except Chik-Fil-A in my town. But in Gwent you have a card collection and make a deck and also face against another players in real time. Bazaar is a roguelike that I guess is sort of, kind of comparable to a draft format but even then Bazaar has the PvE elements/events and RNG that impact you. Not like in Arena in HS or a draft in MTG you fight bosses and can then can take one of their cards.
I think it is safe to say it is just an auto battler with the main gimmick being the asynchronous PvP and the roguelike elements. Even then, the art for the game is still high quality and on par with most other card games if you even compared it to that. It is just Gwent went for the Witcher 3, realistic style of art (that I like btw, I was a big Gwent fan and played a lot) while Bazaar went for the mass appeal Riot/HS style art (probably to get asian markets but they don't even have asian translations lmao, fucking Reynad).

I know most of it is shilling but there are genuinely people who cheer on obesity now. I'm not sure it's the katawa shoujo situation where disgusting freaks imagine uglier women will have low enough standards to accept them.

Those descriptions are oversimplified. Chink pirate lady gives off massive Doronjo (from Yatterman) vibes, with an incompetent crew that just gets drunk 24/7. Some of the encounters and abilities are really satisfyingly designed in terms of risk/reward, the loot tables for most monsters are really nicely done too

it's tough to deterministically roll into a specific build, so you don't feel like an asshole full of remorse for not chosing some optimal thing earlier. It's more about keeping your eyes open for big swings into new builds while making your current build viable and stronger, rolling with the punches
