i've only seen a very brief clip in an unrelated video that just happened to mention it and show a bit talking about anti-cheat and stuff, so i can't have much of a strong opinion.
but from what i saw they weren't even flicking onto people very accurately it was mostly a little off the side side then being adjusted, so it didn't really look that cheaty. just fast, as your typical fortnite zoomer hopped up on slurp juice.
but then again some degree of error could easily be put into an aimkey.
honestly cheating aside it was way more worrying how much of a skill-less laser beam the weapon was. if there is some weapon + attachments to make performance like that, they need to fix it. no idea why modern military shooters are all scared of putting a decent amount of recoil in, it makes gameplay way better. you want frontlines and engagements to last a bit longer without bullet sponge and a bit more skill expression / rewarding control, and different feeling guns, that's how you do it.
