After thread from earlier this week, I found the strength to finish Etrian Odyssey 4 walkthrough from years ago, really loved how warm ending was and felt bad about adventure being over.
What game should I try next?
Untold? EO5?
Or should I skip the 3DS games entirely and move to the PC ones?

Really solid classes.
It's got the classic dungeon structure of your deep dungeon that you delve deeper and deeper down, while still having the whole ocean exploration segment which is honestly its whole adventure in its own right. But since they're separate instead of combined, neither is compromised and you get to enjoy both.
It also has got cool classes and is interestingly enough the EO game that introduced subclassing.

Either way. It's just all around a strong entry. But it's also, interestingly enough, the "oldest" EO game if you've chosen to substitute EO1 and EO2 with the Untolds. So you might as well start with it.

the best play order is eo3, eo4, eou, eou2, eo5, eon because that order ramps up mechanical improvements and there's very little reason to play original eo1 and eo2 when classic mode untolds exist

eo3 is mechanically very similar to eo4 so you should do it sooner

No, and because 4 only has one save slot, it's impossible to do postgame without beating the game again after pressing "new game" (which I kinda already started, The arcanist's Poison Circle with just one point does 70 damage – my Medic with arcanist subclass did less with 3-4 points in it)

Also you could've just let the thread die – I decided not to listen and downloaded both untolds anyway.
