Because I'm still waiting for a card that offers a significant (at least 2x) increase in video memory and performance over my 11gb 1080ti in raster at the same price point I paid for my 1080ti in 2017 ($700).

If I buy one I'd have to change my PSU since 750w isn't going to be enough

I've had such a shit show with Nvidia drivers and black screens constantly the past six months. I have a 7900XTX on the way, it'll be a good time to switch to Linux, too.

Not the OP and I've been there for more than half a decade but I still bought a new card because my old one was nearly 7y old and could honestly die at any second.
It's kinda nice how the fans on my GPU almost never even turn on with my kind of load but I wish there were proper low-end cards nowadays
