The sales are super impressive, but there's literally fucking nothing to play. Mario Kart is average at best - the open world didn't add jack shit just like everyone expected, new items are garbage, and it's an overall big downgrade from MK8DX. Donkey Kong is great, but it's a short and uncomplicated platformer that everyone has already finished. Other than that, there's nothing. Compared to Switch 1, which launched with BotW and Mario Odyssey, it's a barren wasteland.

That beimg said, the Switch1 did have more launch titles. Especially third party stuff was very quick to release unlike the Switch2.

I'm half an hour of gameplay away from 100%ing DK Bananza. Will probably use an online map to collect everything in MK World. After that I'll wait around Christmas for any new Switch2 purchases. My Steam backlog is begging to be cleaned up.

The only problem with Switch 2 is the Switch 2 editions confusion. Even the Game Key Cards are being blown out of proportion by grifters (they're better than digital games linked to your account and definitely better than CIAB, but of course worse than real physical)

Honestly, I know ppl who bought it but they agree that it’s just not worth. The screen is better quality and overall it’s a lot more durable and can take a major beating, but besides that the exclusives aren’t really worth it. I’d save ur money and get smth else. + with the changes to the TOS you could get it disabled pretty easily which requires a painfully long side quest to Nintendo support to fix.

We also have prime 4 on the way, kirby, hyrule warriors, pokemon etc. The first year of switch 2 is better easily than switch 1 mainly because you also have a fuck ton in the back catalog, nso games and amazing exclusives Ive mentioned.
