I prefer Rosa's interpetation of Scrooge as fundamentally sentimental duck whose hard and miserly exterior is more of a result of the life he lived.

I recommend borrowing any Carl Barks story collections you can or even torrenting them. His duck comics are the cream of the crop.

There are a ton other duck comic creators. Their stories are usually light stories ranging from fun to god awful between 1940 to this day. Don Rosa should get a special mention. He's the biggest most autistic Bark's fan. His stories can be great, but there are also unnecessary sequels to Bark's originals. Try Don Rosa story collections. After that go for the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. It's rather heavy comic book and I'd say the autism is too much for newcomers, but if you like Rosa it's great.

Why did she look so loli-like here? I was gonna watch this but she looks like a small adult 50% of the time. I don't think she's cute enough to carry the show for me.

Well, as a store of value it's pretty good - it doesn't really corrode, rust, or age like other common metals. Its softness allows it to be easily cast into other forms. Its rarity by itself is a quality. and the shininess and colour is usually considered aesthetically pleasing by most.

not so sure about that

>Don's statement on Disney banning "The Empire-Builder from Calisota" and "The Dream of a Lifetime": "I think I have a Duck-related post for you now. No mentions of puppies or cole crops or mowing or wildflowers or Chiles.
>I have not commented on this banning of two of my stories other than to keep trying to correct the various misinterpretations of what I had accurately reported in February. The fact was always that the two stories WERE BANNED, not that a “possible ban was being discussed”. >The only attempts at discussions were on the part of the publishers who first told me of the situation and who thought they could reason with the licensing company. The obvious preference was to continue to use the two stories but with a disclaimer as is often done with other comics or movies or TV shows of a similar nature. The licensing corporation does this very thing with its own productions of the past.
>But that corporation’s American home office has no interest or respect for comics, so refused to discuss the matter.
>Furthermore, the licensed publishers are forbidden to mention the situation to their readers or publicly mention it in any way. They are only allowed to state that a new reissue of a book has been “edited for content” but cannot be specific as to exactly what has been changed or omitted. There is NO discussion of the matter allowed. Or at least none given any credence.
