I recommend borrowing any Carl Barks story collections you can or even torrenting them. His duck comics are the cream of the crop.
There are a ton other duck comic creators. Their stories are usually light stories ranging from fun to god awful between 1940 to this day. Don Rosa should get a special mention. He's the biggest most autistic Bark's fan. His stories can be great, but there are also unnecessary sequels to Bark's originals. Try Don Rosa story collections. After that go for the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. It's rather heavy comic book and I'd say the autism is too much for newcomers, but if you like Rosa it's great.
