how does this site works, technically?
I noticed it streams chunks of 1000x1000 pixels, and if the palette size is 64 colors, so 5 bits per pixel. Assuming it's uncompressed, it should add up to about 4TB of storage for the entire world. And it also stores info about who last painted each pixel, which is probably much bigger than 5 bits.
Now if it's rudimentary, they might not have allocated these 1000x1000 tiles that have never been drawn and they are allocated on first-draw. They might also be using some RLE compression but I doubt they operate at enough a profit to afford the infrastructure to be distributed.
This could mean that by randomly spraying with a single pixel random points on the map, properly spaced, you could force them to allocate about 625kb per pixels. This could be a reason why the client doesn't let you draw pixels unless you're zoomed in enough, they must be saving a lot of space by not having people draw in the middle of deserts and oceans.

Which unlockable colors should I prioritize purchasing first? Preferably want colors that should have been unlocked by default due to how crucial they are for coloring art.
I was thinking about purchasing Dark Red and Dark Slate Blue once I get to 4000 droplets, as I still use the default colors. Any more good colors I should buy once I can afford it? I have 358 paint charges so I should have plenty of paint to work with every morning.
