I will admit that deflecting is the easiest game mechanic to lean on because it almost always works and it liberates you from having to make quick decisions, but it's hardly your only option in any situation

I suck at souls games but didn't die to Genichiro at all and beat sword saint on the fifth try. Stellar blade is unironically the better game with a more in depth parry system and lot more enemies and more combat options. Such a shallow game.
