Deduction
What other games will scratch the itch if I want to piece together clues based on logical deductions

Well, the Golden Idol games come to mind.
Painscreek Killings was ok as well.

Golden Idol if you need quantity
Others:
>Roottrees Are Dead (has both free and paid)
>Unheard
>Duck Detective
>Type Help (free text adv), Incident at Galley House (upcoming paid version with graphics)

I only recommended Painscreek Killings back then since we were desperate but it's literally a key-hunting walking-sim with 1 obvious blank for you to fill in at the end.

I like Scene Investigators a lot.
Slightly flawed game since some scenes are a bit more logic jumpy but the good ones are top quality

I need to play the prequel. I had fun with The Case of the Golden Idol.
Are all the DLC out?

It's hideous enough that I can only imagine it's on purpose, but don't let that stop you, it's great
Somewhere here said Rise sucked because it was written by a bunch of Americans instead of the original guys but I just finished it and thought it was at least as good as Case (and personally I thought the ending of Case was kind of anticlimactic)

Correct me if I'm wrong but you have to use both inductive and deductive reasoning.

Chants of Sennaar have been describes as a 'Obra Dinn like'. It's not as good as Obra Dinn, and it could do with less stealth segments, but it's fine

Lacuna has some compelling deduction puzzles. Great stakes as well when it comes to the narrative.
