I followed a very specific guide online to get the P4 platinum. It was annoying enough that I do not ever plan on doing the same with P5 or P3.

In Persona 4 Golden forget to beat the bonus bosses at the end of each story dungeon on my second playthrough, only find this out when I can't do them and quit and never play the game again

In Persona 3 Reload follow a guide to the letter yet be one social stat point lower than where the guide is 13 hours in, quit the game and never play it again

In P5 is was pretty easy, just prioritize the difficult fucks like Akechi and Yoshida and then focus on the beneficial ones like Kawakami and Chihaya.

If you play on the hardest difficulty, and have to grind dungeons to catch up with the levels, you get Hardcore Risette Fan without even worrying about it.
Unless you spam Megidolaon every battle, but if you go for exploiting weaknesses, it's going to pop halfway through Heaven.
Book one is annoying, because you have to make a NG+ save in October and play the game for a while doing nothing but reading every day.

Doesn't help there's nothing useful coming out of her SL, she's not particularly well written, it is taking place during the day (unlike the other two jobs) and she gets very little bonus points from picking correct responses during events.
Honestly I hope that in the remake they will give her the same treatment as the old lady, and just make her SL increase every single time you interact with her, or give her SL some good rewards.

This is more the fault of the guidemakers.
Persona 4 on gamefaqs has a guide where the guidemaker is so “thourough that he separates the guides for every single party combination you want to focus on so your main party gets their evolved personas first and you can get all their bike skills in a single playthrough. The problem? You might get fucked on one of the bug catching events even if you follow the guide to the letter, the guidemaker makes no mention of this. Another problem? The guidemaker makes no mention that you need to get the bonus note when reading, you can only infer this from the point amount he puts on the guide but the player reading doesn’t know that and the guidemaker doesn’t explain it.

Something similar happens in the p5 guide where the guidemaker activates the quest flag for tower on a date where hermit is not available, for whatever reason, for the guidemaker futaba appears in leblanc on the same dat afterward but if you activate the tower flag earlier you can mess that up and be unable to activate the tower link on that day, forcing you to be permanently behind 1 level to the guidemaker in tower, which can fuck up ALOT OF THINGS when you get the mementos request. But of course the guidemaker makes no mention of any of this in the guide, no warning or anything
Persona 3 reload is a lot easier to manage on your own, the hard part is getting academics to 55 (rank 3) before the first exam and making absolutely certain you prioritize school slinks. Another thing that could fuck you up is not unlocking all the school slinks early, even moon.

i mean why would i play p4 another remake? i played this game already, i maxed all social link characters that i wanted, like most of them. combats was pretty easy, and companions have fixed personas.

this game like pathfinder kingmaker, but not as deep as pathfinder wotr. you have some storyline, your little companions have some storylines. although you can customise only your character.

i'd rather replay smt vv i think.

There is a way around this but none of the guides explain it.
If you re-enter a dungeon it regenerates all the chests, you can do this to get snuff souls, making the first few dungeons easier without having to rape your money with the fox.
Of course, nobody in gamefaqs will ever mention this

Eh its true that most of them are playing on normal mode but its possible to do the first dungeon in a day on hard in p4. Same goes for kamoshida on p5 and first 22 floors of tartarus on p3r and fes.
For p4 you simply farm for sp items by exit and re-entering the dungeon to regenerate chests in the first floor but its technically possible to do it by just carefully managing your sp since you’re likely to find at least a few sp recovery items.
For p3fes its really easy cause you can just return to the first floor to recover sp, just make sure you do it BEFORE yukari and junpei get tired then its easy street.
For p3p its even easier because you can just use money at the clock, you can literally endlessly farm tartarus at any point.
For p3r its a lot trickier but not impossible you have to carefully manage the 4 snuff souls/3 5sp drinks you get and try not to use any sp for healing but its doable even on merciless. You should use Junpei’s agi as much as possible as well and save at least 2 casts of it for the second tartarus guardian as well. You can get lucky and get more snuff souls and soul drops from chests and the glowy thingies but if you aren’t you can always fallback to restoring your sp with 7 twilight shards, you can only do it once but it will be enough as long as you don’t waste it.
For p5r its about as tricky as p3r but careful sp management will make it easy, you also need to avoid the red shadows the first time around, another important thing is stocking up on sp drinks from the vending machine as much as possible

If anything p3p is the easiest followed by p3fes and p4

In Metaphor Refantazio there’s a social link that requires you to fight a level 60 boss and you can unlock it when you’re about level 30. The guidemaker made no mention of this and was playing on the new easy difficulty called merciful. The guidemaker just makes trophy and achievement guides and doesn’t care about the gameplay. You can do the fight on the hardest difficulty but it’s a big pain that early on lol.

Trying to max social links in a single run is the worst way to experience these games whether you've already beaten them before or not, especially 3. It drains virtually all possible fun you could've had. Playing NG+ also shows that social stats were just a completely needless layer of tedium and it's actually enjoyable once you don't have to worry about any of that shit.
