I used to play AC as a guilty pleasure, like the sportstards who play FIFA every year, but I refused to buy Shadows
I hope somehow they have data from PSN that shows I bought/played/platinumed every AC game up to Mirage, and then Shadows isn't on my account, and that I and similar comes up as a data point when they have to look at Shadows' performance

3's are pretty cursed in general I think though a lot of series that get that far manage to limp on afterwards, like Spyro and Crash both made it to 3 and their 3's were still good but after that they became shambling corpses.

Silent Hill 3 was fantastic, SH4 was decent but everything else was shit after. I can't think of any other 3's that were really good, maybe Gen 3 of Pokemon (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald). I think F.E.4.R. was actually registered as a trademark before F.3.A.R. destroyed the series.
I am still so mad at Dead Space 3. I think DS2 is a rare example of a sequel surpassing the original and the DLC is another rare example of the DLC being just as good if not better as the main game and then both DS3 and its DLC were fucking terrible. The worst part to me is that the truth about the Brother Moons was actually really cool but there is so much wrong in the game itself that I cannot enjoy it.
