itโs beyond fucking obvious that the tutorial island was meant to be the DLC and why everything after feels so lazy and rehashed. The tutorial island has the most unique aesthetic that actually feels like its own game as well as cool toga link
>>718071298 >used in all promo material and advertising >canโt even upgrade the toga armor and is immediately discarded after you leave the tutorial zone
why did they do this? It gave Link a unique feel for this otherwise retread of a game
It's
*pauses what I was going to type because I just saw a korok puzzle*
a fun and great Zelda title however
*follows a flower that moves about to get another korok seed*
it is really too similar to the first game which gets annoying when
*builds yet another car to help a korok move across the map for 2 korok seeds i dont need*
the game is so huge and time consuming

I've beaten Botw on master mode, including all of the DLC bosses in master mode, and even I will say that you can beat near enough anything by brute forcing damage with overpowered gear.
In Botw it was spamming the two kinds of bomb to stunlock basically everything.
In Totk, it's spamming the dazzle fruit / shock fruit to stunlock everything.

to play devils advocate the underground was just an inverted version of the map above which was already rehashed from BoTW so it couldnโt have been hard to program at all. Also the sky wasnโt as big as this hypothetical situation is making it out to be

There are like 5 official nintendo zelda books for these games and I am not going to buy one just for the "editors revised version" to come out a year later.

You're doing 1/10 of the bosses health in a single hit and poise breaking them because you're overpowered, not sure what you're trying to prove here other than you've never played Elden Ring.

the durability system is so bad. I know what they were going for, they wanted you to have to think on your feet and use weapons you might otherwise ignore in a pinch but in reality it just made me avoid most combat situations

Weapon durablity is fine in the early/mid-game, but the enemies have so much HP in the end-game that itโs not worth breaking your weapons to fight them.

The tech in half life is really convincing smoke and mirrors. Still impressive, but not well implemented outside a controlled setting until TOTK
It was fine. It had stuff that was great. It had stuff that was bad. TotK suffers as it lacks the adventure of the first game. BotW suffers from the lack of the cool TotK things like enemies, bosses and the better dungeons. Both are 8/10 good games but arent perfect.
