Should have been a pack in title. It’s fine and fun enough but not worth even 20 bucks. 20 years later and Nintendo still fails to realize why Wii sports was such a success

I.. actually kinda enjoy it. It's fun, tons of objective flaws with it, but damn it gives me a hint of the Wii era with its gimmick

Is it even paid or is it F2P?
Does it have a single player mode?
Why did they decide to go with the most nothing designs possible?
If Nintendo didn't send it out to die, then why did it only get like 30s of barely explainable footage during its major direct this year?

This and Welcome Tour should have been in the same package. And maybe a motion control tennis game, since people love that stuff.

This looks like the sort of game which seriously has no audience. I guess it's good that they're still willing to experiment with new things that don't obviously have an established audience yet, but even so I think this one is going to be a bust. I'm not sure who exactly would be excited for what looks like a wheelchair basketball game.

I don't hate cripples but you won't catch me watching any "special" sports events, and the same for vidya, every time they try to push some wheelchair character in it I lose all interest.
Good for them but watching regular grow men throw balls is boring enough.

I miss arcadey style sports games like THPS, NHL HITZ, and NFL BLITZ from the early 00s. Ultra hyper realism is super lame. I want to shoot a flaming puck from the other side of the rink and rip a hole in the net while controlling a character with a big alien head and cheats to make me go hyper fast

I played it for during the demo period last weekend and my arms are still sore. I also noticed some lint building up in the joycon's sensor/connector after rubbing them against my pants leg for just a few hours. There's very little to the game but it's WAY more intensive than it looks. Someone really thought the best way to show off the joycon 2's new features was to have you slam and grind it connector-side-down against a hard surface repeatedly.
