A quiet exploration game with light survival elements wherein you play as a "nature guardian" who has to wander around an ancient forest, reinvigorating the dying nature spirits by communing with them.
There's no threat during the day and the dying forest is at times very sad to look upon.
But at night, your past haunts you, threatening to send you spiraling into stressful dream sequences if you stray too far from where you've set up camp.. assuming you set up camp.
Dream sequences have interesting details about your past, but in general are mostly just there as an excuse to make assets that aren't just trees, rocks, and maybe ruins. And also to bait the shit out of lore addicts and Youtubers. :^)
The game itself would be 20-30 hours long in a casual playthrough. Probably as short as 8 hours glitchless if you know exactly what you're doing.
Post-release content would be aimed at getting Workshop support online.
