Anyway OP I just use streamlink. It doesn't play ads it just pauses the video when an ad comes on. If you watch it with enough delay you can skip over the breaks. I also don't usually watch the kind of streams that play ads

There's a fella I enjoy, but he only streams on Twitch, which I pretty much never fucking watch so I barely ever see him. The first time he streamed on Youtube, I opened up the stream immediately and just enjoyed it while I was cooking. He says that it's gonna be pretty rare for him to dual stream. Why the fuck do streamers do this? I keep hearing about splitting the audience, but those who don't watch Twitch will not be convinced to move over. Ever. The guy was getting a bunch of donations from the YouTube side of things too.
