id say mainly because it was hard to understand which actions resulted in a win. like yes obviously getting goals won you the game but it was hard to understand how to first play it, and even as a veteran player i had trouble understanding how to catch up to the puck, maintain control of it and other things like that. nothing bad about the game, just kind of a niche genre

i quit playing and recommending it to others because they refused to allow you to permanently disable emotes
they eventually added an option to manually do it every match but it was too little and too late
i dont want to have to look at streamer faces popping up every game

Yeah, I remember in the beta there was no practice mode where you could casually train, experiment or warm up. Even the tutorial would end abruptly after giving you a short moment to fool around.
