characters actually got reduced to nothing.
KH1 sora and kairi were 1000x more like real people than the subhuman, single digit IQ anime drones we ended up with in KH3.
It's incredible that nomura is such a garbage writer he managed to take 2 relatable and endearing kids and turn them into completely dislikable anime tropes whos speech and interactions reveal them to be so stupid and divorced from good characterization that they have more in common with insects than how you're supposed to write human characters.

These three bastards destroyed the characters and story of the Kingdom Hearts series. And the worst part is none of them realize how bad Kingdom Hearts has turned out because it still sells great. What good is criticism if the shittiest game sells the best? I also blame the fans.

I'm not buying Kingdom Hearts 4 and I hope it fails and kills Kingdom Hearts entirely as a series. I used to like the series but since it became so unbearably terrible now I want it to die.

And they ran out of good Disney films which I think is why the games kept selling well, but now the games don't have that excuse anymore. Now you got no good Disney films and the bad writing fully taking over. This series better die.

Kairi has always been a shit character. And its amazing she was killed off TWICE and revived TWICE within KH3. That's some garbage writing. Even for Square Enix that's bad. At least when Aerith "died" in FF7 Remake it was one time. Kingdom Hearts is unforgivably terrible.

Sora finally has her safe and sound and she wants to come with him but sora says no because he really cares about her (and he's not a retard like KH3 sora)
and so she made him a charm and tells him to bring it back (I was 12 at the time and my GF had just made me a bracelet so it was relatable and seemed very in touch and down to earth compared to what came in later games)
No autistic anime dialogue, no looking nodding and grunting, no faggy speech about hearts and friendship, just a girl and a boy who like each other. it's so much more believable, natural and well executed.

How about this, death should be permanent. Sora is stupid so I can see him idiotically throwing his life away. Roxas should not exist. Neither should Time Travel Ventus who would birth Roxas. And Xehanort should be dead but we all know he's still alive in Quadratum with Strelitzia who is Marluxia's dead sister that no one knew about.

I hate how death is meaningless in Kingdom Hearts. I truly wish Nomura, Nojima, and everyone working in Kingdom Hearts got killed. Lets see if their faith in bad writing will save them from dying.

Don't worry seems that Kingdom Hearts has lost appeal. The original fans are burned out and the critics for Kingdom Hearts were always right that Kingdom Hearts is lame. Doesn't help that Disney has become a controversial company especially after they used Feminism Agenda to kill Star Wars and Indiana Jones. So a lot of people hate Disney right now.

Kingdom Hearts has a bleak future because young people don't care about it and the old fans had their good faith burned out.

The real problem is that Watanabe was so thoroughly mindbroken by the FFXIII trilogy when he was probably one of the most significant contributors to SE's writing teams at the turn of the century, and has basically disappeared since those games finished

KH2FM is quite literally the best jap action RPG and I think that fact brainwashed me into following this shitty franchise since I played it in Middle School.

I agree it should have ended with 2. But that isn't to say they couldn't have done new adventures with Sora still being the protagonist. The problem is that Nomura comes up with bad ideas.

Nomura thought invented many side games with Non Sora protagonists was good so when the story returned to Sora there would be many gaps in the plot which would confuse anyone who skipped the handheld side games or mobile games. And bringing back old characters be they heroes or villains through reviving the dead, time travel, clone replica bodies, etc has always been divisive.

How many people were happy that Sephiroth got revived in Advent Children? To my recollection fans were upset. They were also angry that Rufus inexplicably is alive and healthy despite being bombed to death in the original FF7. People don't respect "And magically the character is back to life!" bullshit.

Kingdom Hearts did have potential and I'd argue it still has potential but not in the hands of Nomura. Not in the hands of Square Enix. And not in the hands of Disney. And because Kingdom Hearts is not public domain its better off dead.

I don't know what's the history of every single Square Enix employee. All I know is that they have churned out shoddy low quality work. And it has negatively impacted Kingdom Hearts as a series.

To see competent characters like Riku and Axel inexplicably become losers who can't do anything right is simply bad writing. Seeing Aqua intentionally give up fighting a type of Heartless she already fought repeatedly even though she was accompanied by her friends this time is bad writing. I just can't forgive Square Enix employees for doing such awful writing. And who can forget great scenes like Sora NOT bringing out his weapon when Terranort wanted to kill Kairi meaning he was going to allow himself and Kairi to get killed in one strike. Then again death doesn't matter, Sora and Kairi did get killed and then they rewrote reality to revive themselves. Such bad writing.

Kingdom Hearts 4 will be released but you can tell Nomura doesn't care about Kingdom Hearts anymore. He hasn't in many years. He only uses Kingdom Hearts as a way to sustain his status at Square Enix as a major employee. Nomura is riding this out until he can retire and no longer make Kingdom Hearts out of obligation.
