It looks like they just turned it into 4's octocamo. I didn't ask for that. It looks highly ill-fitting in MGS3. I would've preferred a real-time menu with the D-pad like Arkham City while making the camo index less of a mindless numbers game.

Metal Gear is too tied to Hideo Kojima's cult of personality. So trying to add to the story without his weird schizo input is a very daunting task.

Look back on Phantom Pain. If that was made by somebody besides Bojangles the director would be hated because it's such a departure from the previous games in terms of story and cut-scenes.

I like the remakes, but come on. RE2 barely tries with the B Scenario, basically being a copy/paste of A scenario but with the train section added at the end. Then RE3 rips out entire sections of the game, and after the semi-open world section at the beginning, you basically get railroaded through the rest of the game, when the appeal of the original was that you actually got to explore Raccoon City like the RE2 intro only teased at.

I will agree however that I like the RE4 remake better than the original, though I was never exactly a superfan of the original.
