We will get Cyrodiil and Roscrea, and probably some of the pre-releases like Morrowind's. Still, expect it around 2028 at the earliest.

Didn't those fags drop it completely in favor of adding the sheogorad region of Morrowind (no slaves allowed edition)

This project is such a joke. Completely clowned on by Project Tamriel+Tamriel Rebuilt despite Morrowind being less popular and using much more dated tech. I'm a little sad as I think that Skyrim is more replayable and lends itself to big content mods more, but Morrowind's modders are simply better at what they do.

Just play Project Tamriel, it's in the better game and has the better Cyrodiil

Not to defend Beyond Skyrim's appalling job at failing to communicate with fans for more than a decade among other things, but Morrowind's age helps it rather than encumbers it. No need for voiced NPCs, for AI schedules or for any NPC really to move move than two feet in the same room they're in. Any random anon can write three paragraphs and implement them in-game and there's no need for directing a VA, acting the lines, splicing them in the way the Creation Kit reads them, implementing them and QA testing them.

That's a good point. That helps explain why Fallout 4's mod scene feels so barren as no one wants to make voices for Nate and Nora for any new dialogue.

How do they do it?

they should just start using AI for the voices, but a lot of the better modders can be trannies that shriek at the idea.

Funny you should mention because Nora's VA went ballistic when someone tried something along those lines, a year ago. We literally cannot have nice things because retarded egos

Anvil and surrounding territories. But scale is completely different compared to Oblivion.

From what I remember it was a matter of being too deep to back down once they realized years down the line that they had bitten more than they could chew with the idea of releasing the entire province at once instead of with chunks. Another reason I believe is that they wanted to make interconnected quests ie a quest that you could start in Anvil and end in Leyawiin, but there's no reason they couldn't just... wait until the second province was added then implement the quest.

How good is Project Tamriel compared to base game Morrowind, because I found the world of Vvardenfell to be incredibly dull and lifeless, and a lot of the quest-dialogue design to be poorly executed; never have I played a game that's so dependent on directions but won't actually offer to player to ask FOR those directions half the time. The actual systems at play are alright (aside from how enemy levels matter a shitton more than gear early on, so it's easier to fight a dude in full armor than a dude in his sunday best), so I'd be willing to play another game in this engine that isn't, well, as shit

>on't actually offer to player to ask FOR those directions half the time
Which is funny given both Arena and Daggerfall allowed you to ask specifically for directions be it to a dungeon or to an inn inside the town you're in and NPCs would outright write the location on your map if close enough

It's genuinely better world design and quest wise. I hope that modders go back to the vanilla content and spruce those up to the TR standard as you are right about things being dull and lifeless. Beautiful Cities of Morrwind and Tomb of the Snow Prince help.

These projects don't understand how volunteer work, uh, works.
People make stuff for free to put it out there for people to see/enjoy/interactive with. If a contribution is filed away for a "version 1.0" release, then it's delaying the gratification that the author receives. They, and others, are less likely to continue contributing.
The best thing you can do is put out small, constant releases.

The Strident Coast has a distinctly Mediterranean climate (it's sandwiched between Hammerfell and Valenwood) however the province will supposedly become more jungle-like the further inland you go

That has always been a very weird justification for Oblivion Cyrodiil
I mean, they COULD have just done something aesthetically like that pic but on the Oblivion scale y'know? It's not as if generic medieval land with a slight roman tinge magically runs better than crazy asian-roman land
