This is actually a fair point. Nintendo actually use the extra processing power to create fresh gameplay ideas rather than photo realistic ass fuzz on character's faces.

Right? Like, say what you will about Nintendo being stuck in the past, but at least their idea of "innovation" isn't just slapping ray tracing on puddles and calling it a day. They’ll still give you a game where you fuse a chicken to your sword and ride a rocket canoe into space. Beats paying $30 for a weapon skin with bloom shaders.
