Did anybody unironically enjoyed Daima? The constant talking? The constant retcons? Post Buu characters having trouble dealing with a giant child and dog and military fodder? Pilaf 2.0 villain? No stakes? Did anyone liked it?

People liked moments from Daima and they also appreciate it because its Toriyama's final project. I think opinions on Daima will get worse with time. It's already pretty common to criticize Daima for its lack of stakes and it hasn't done great in the sales department either. Personally, while I like a few of Daima's ideas and the animation was great, I found it to be a complete and utter waste of the Demon Realm, as the Demon Realm feels no different from any other location in Dragon Ball. It doesn't mean anything to be a demon as the place is just a goofy wasteland.

That's exactly it, the demon realm is less scary than Earth, and they have super markets and shit, it's so baffling that this is supposedly the world that Dabura reigned over, you know, a being just as strong as Cell. There are big creatures and that's about it. Wasted potential.

Yeah the story mode has a lot of missions but there were more modes present in the old games. Plus the menus and everything involving the UI just felt so bland. Awesome spectacle game but not much there. A fun time sink but I can move on.

The video is long but basically there was a lot of small changes that made things worse. I think that's what ultimately killed the game. All the BT3 nostalgiafags picked up the game hoping it's the sequel of their dreams but they could just feel in the battle system that something is really wrong.

Fuck this game, it's genuinely worse than Xenoverse 2 in pretty much every aspect aside from graphics. The gacha character getting a slot on the roster and the most basic bitch moveset (with no SSJ form) possible is the shit cherry on top.
