Start with friendly games like Code Vein, there will always be a companion helping you the whole time. After playing Elden Ring, the game, not the Nightreign, then you can play Dark Souls 3 or AI Limit or Lies of PI, after it you can try Sekiro.

Complete these games in this sequence and you will never be filtered again.

There's some legitimate criticism there, but then NR also has what I think are the best bosses in any souls game ever.

Yeah fair enough. I play with mates mostly, and I have okay-good experiences with randos, but have definitely had issues with randos doing exactly that.
Try playing Solo. You deal a good amount of damage and the bosses have way less health.
Also the new Duo mode means you only need one mate to play with.

You get a Revenant or Recluse to cast a charged Wrath of the Gods right as he summons the clones. I just did this with Revenant and beat him easily.

Everdark libra and everdark gaping faggot are the only two difficult fights in the game. This guy cause his summon spam, and gaped cause the aoe range on some of his attacks is super unclear and do absurd damage
