Tainted Jacob is probably next just due to the sheer stress factor every fucking run

They really aren't that bad, weak runs with them are atrocious but once you have a decent run going you can stomp your way through the rest of the run with little issue.

Their big weakness is how easy it is to get hit and lose on your devil/angel deals, which really hurts your run in the long term.

Tainted Laz is way worse, you are almost guaranteed to be forced to juggle with a shit run for half of the rooms in the game.

here's a few tips on how to be better at playing Jacob or Esau
>dead laz has good stats already and a damage multiplier, he'd just enjoy a singular tears up from your boss, throw most of your items onto alive laz until he feels fine
>pay attention to the charge on flip so that you have it ready for rooms where a pre-spawned pedestal is expected (treasure, shop, boss, angel)
>your health resources are split across 2 health bars, so devil deals are seldom worth it. go angel
>also because your health is split across 2 health bars, you can bank a lot of hp for sacrifice rooms and arcades once the run is rolling
the character is only miserable in greed mode (and somewhat during boss rush) due to forced flips and being harder to control how to stack your power due to the only way to tick things down slower is using the button.
be glad it's not like pre-nerf when flip was a 6 room charge, there was no mirror item, and a shitton of items just straight up crashed the game.

The problem is half of the characters aren't fun to play as
J&e? No fun. tainted j&e? Annoying. Tainted Lazarus? Annoying and no fun. Tainted poop nigger? Tedious. Tainted Cain? Tedious.

You can make it work, but it really feels like it comes down to luck more than other characters. I feel like getting birthright on them is essential since so many good items will now be permanent.
That said, my final T. Laz run to Delirium was absolutely busted out the ass, literally couldn't lose if I wanted to, and mainly due to getting both of them flight within the first few floors through sheer luck. Alive had fucking C-section with knives, dead had ocular rift and an incubus, both had conjoined.
Delirium lasted about 5 seconds.

The main problem of isaac today is how item pools are literally filled with trash items that maybe work under very specific condition but in most cases they are just to waste pedestals and chance that you will get any of good combos feels like impossible.
