what made you realize that video games are no longer a hobby you enjoy anymore?

never. i just don't enjoy boring safe slop anymore. but i still love vydia for that small amount of sincere games.

I'm 45 and still love them.
But i know what i like, it's generation 3-6 stuff.
I still play modern stuff to see what's happening but 9 times out of 10 when i play a new game it's shite.

When I saw praise for Plants vs Zombies, I knew my preference for games deviated from the norm. 'Games' aren't for me. A mobile game about Plants...fighting against Zombies. This is the standard for games today.
