i was talking objectively, i don't care about the guy or girl, both are morally repulsive to me, i don't like stories where the protagonists are evil and get away with it "just because" i can forgive it if the writing is interesting or if there's a point otherwise it can feel like excessive violence fantasies or self insert garbage, neither of which interest me.

There is nothing in self-defense about half of her murders or the cannibalism. At this point most of the murders done in the story are merely to recharge the trinket and most of the cannibalism is because Ashley has a paraphilia that involves eating others so they become a part of her forever, much like real-life cannibals.

In one of the endings she devotes the rest of her life to killing random people, stealing from them, eating them and letting her brother beat and fuck her. This is all a conscious decision and there is zero way to justify this.
