Even with the game's built-in tutorial, I still can't Fast Castle. And I lose my shit when a single Scout harasses my town. I'm garbage at RTS.

I only ever play against AI solo or with friends.
I also play the game like a civ builder and take my time.

7 on food is usually better, I go 8 if Im playing my main Burgundy so I can get double bit in Dark, usually that looks like 15 food 8 wood 1 gold 1 builder by the time I click up

About how good I am, well I sometimes manage to beat the extreme AI in 1v1 but I'm still not consistent about that

Dropped it since they wrecked pathfinding and never fixed it, as well as intentionally broke attack move.
Years and this shit isn't fixed, yet they put out awfully designed DLC factions.

Try out the new PUP. It made major changes to melee pathing. You can actually kill cav archers with knights now.

i would play but from my experience interacting with aoe2 players on 4chan, 90% of people here are complete and utter shitter and pose 0 challenge
