My opinion is that if a game is uninteresting enough to you that you need outside entertainment at the same time, you should play a different game.

I can't listen to like, a podcast about swimming pools and then a cutscene happens and now it's two conversations going on at once. If I play something mindless like an EDF stage farming weapons and armour it's cool though

Yeah and stuff on my watch later on YouTube. I watch/listen to a lot of NY comedians. Right now I'm catching up on Dan Soders podcast. Cumtown is always a comfort listen.

I've listened to a number of episodes of each, but once I catch up on Soder, I'll choose one of these and start from the beginning. I also watch some Let's Players like NintendoCapriSun and ChuggaConroy. Some Asmon videos if the topic interests me. I also just jam out to vidya music and update my playlists. Right now I'm going through the Monster Hunter Wilds soundtrack and I'll probably hit up Dragon Quest 3 Remake soundtrack after that. I play a lot of Monster Hunter and am getting back into Black Ops Zombies, so it's a pretty fucking comfy experience overall.

I like blasting Bolt Thrower when I'm playing Bannerlord, or podcasts/jewtubedocs in slower games

I need to find some decent talk radio or something. I don't really like most podcasts but I need more stuff to listen to while I vidya. Darknet Diaries and Mad At The Internet are nice but I'm caught up and not really planning on revisiting stuff.

Nope. I didn't have a second monitor for years because I figured I'd never use it and I was right. I hardly touch it I don't know the purpose of dozens of screens.

Not anymore, stopped when I was around 30. Just didn't seem like any of them were interesting. I do still listen to long form rambling audio content, just not podshit where they always wind up bringing up their gay ass drama.

I'll pause them if I get to a narrative-focused portion of a game, but I often listen to TAFS or TrueAnon if I'm playing something more gameplay-focused or grindan.
Blowback is also good when I'm in a /his/ mood but they only release a few episodes a year, and Matt Christman's history series were good before he had to stop doing them when he had a stroke
