At this point it feels like they’re more interested in selling car packs and influencer-branded emotes than making an actual game. Horizon used to be fun because you could just pick a car, hit the road, and race. Now it's a bloated, ADHD carnival with zero soul. Driving being “ok” is all it’s got left.

the handling model is good and the graphics are nice so the actual racing feels fine but all the trappings around it are shit. the writing, the music, the map, it all sucks really bad. mexico is a zero aura shithole and they treat it like the greatest thing since sliced bread in this game, its very tiring

Says you but I’m fucking hooked on this POS. Tuning and trying out new cars and just cruising around always put me in a zen-like state, the handling model is great, and I probably have no taste but I find no problem with the map whatsoever, it has great driving roads and that’s all I care for. The MP is fucking cancer though. I’ve lost count of the number of times I got rammed off the track or used as a braking cushion by a rabid Bone Shaker/Viper AE Edition. There’s solid racing here and there if the lobby has clean racers but most of the time it’s just gonna go like that which sucks donkey balls.
I guess it also helps that I never touch the story even with a nine-foot pole. I’m just here to drive cars.
