Garry fucked up with the designs. He legitimately liked them himself, then asked one of kids (who was raised with the same sense of humor that ugly=funny) to validate it.
He did zero marketing research. It's the top one complaint in all forums. But he refuses to accept it because he thinks all kids will like it and he'll make the next Roblox and become a trillionaire. Guy was bragging about vacations to Saudi Arabia, he's the kind of person that buys a yacht company.
