To be fair Microsoft was actually told by Team Cherry that it would be ready when they asked. It's only later than TC walked that shit back. So in that case it was not MS's fault but TC being incompetent.

They didn't confirm shit, it was their PR guy Leth who said it except he has been wrong on several occasions and outright said he barely knows WTH is going on because Team Cherry barely tells him a thing.
