Here you go, OP. One of the only on-topic replies you're going to get this thread.

I'm reinstalling and can give you a real answer if the thread is still up but last time I played a few months ago it was still borked and felt broken in a way that couldn't be fixed without totally overhauling the game. I had fun with it for a bit, but playing it just made me want to go back and play the older games again.

I genuinely believe a not-insignificant amount of the original designers/developers were killed on the frontlines. STALKER 2 reminds me of Amnesia versus Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs in that it has a lot of the same general trappings and set dressing but totally lacks any idea of what made the original game special or even functional. And with Machine for Pigs it was because the game was handed to an entirely different developer team. Similarly, I suspect STALKER 2 suffered massive developer turnover, which would also explain why the game was so heavily delayed.

You want a real Ukrainian hidden gem? it's this game. Boiling Point. It's this really cool game that is like if you threw Morrowind, Far Cry and Deus Ex into a blender, this is the result. FPS RPG game that barely anyone knows about except those of us who are older gamers that i do, and yes it's very janky. Also don't reply to ziggers or acknowledge them. I'm not from east europe but i will never forgive the Russians for MH-17, nor do i like that they put out propaganda on the steam store named squad 22 zov. All they want to do is make this place miserable for everyone else.
