I would have had less fun if I didn't know how to speedrun to the 3rd daily action powerup.

don't care. guides + tips + cheese + skips + exploits = win
if i don't modify game code, i beat the game

>nonsensical choices where eg. eating toast instead of muffin locks you into a 20 hour long route
>surprised when players use guides

>the game won't be fun if you do everything you can to prevent as much rape and misery as possible

The setbacks are supposed to encourage you to do better.

If you have to get defensive over people using a walkthrough for your game it's probably the kind of game that's a lot more fun if you DO use a guide or walkthrough

>make the wrong choice, according to the dev
>locked out of content and/or forced into bad ending
>"just replay the game bro, don't you have 20 hours to spare redoing the same shit you've already done before?"

You wouldn't know you missed content unless you cheated

if you have to follow a walkthrough step by step it's a sign of a badly designed game, like dark souls
looking up a guide or wiki when you get stuck is acceptable because most games are very bad at giving the player enough clues to progress without a lot of frustration. there's a reason why gamefaqs has been a thing for 3 decades
