Sorry but everything about Demon's Souls is better than Dark Souls. That's what I still haven't recovered from. No credit for the progenitor. The only reason Dark Souls exists is because Sony owned the rights to Demon's Souls so a reasonable (but still worse) facsimile had to be created for multi platform.

Only if you are talking PTDE with the 60fp mod. Even then, it lacks the QoL stuff added in Remastered. The Switch version has those QoL features, but retains the old graphics. If it gets a patch to run at 60fps and fix the shit sound, it will become the best version out of the box.

I have the platinum on PS3 and Steam. Its one of my favorite games of all time. I just think the switch port is really good, and has the potential to be my favorite version. I played earlier this year for Return to Lordran on Steam, but the Switch version has gotten me through many roadtrips and long flights.

Yes it does, semi-definitive edition too because it's a port of the PS3 version with added Remastered goodies so you don't have to do any texture mods to de-uglify the game like on PC. The downside is Namco-Bandai crushed a bunch of the audio for no reason whatsoever.
