free beta beats paid game, gotcha

Its funny because the game is literally Call of Duty with this small, killbox, straight into the action map design. The biggest map in the beta had 1 tanks and that's it. All infantry combat, disgraceful.

Now if only it can beat Call of Duty's 500m sales unit. Battlefield isn't over 100m for the whole franchise yet so it's not even at 20% of the way.

I was hoping for some big maps but the largest map is that sniper hill map which is still just two roads. Everything else was an insanely shitty and chaotic meatgrinder with enemies spawning on all sides constantly. I'm forced to play in asia so it was also giga-sweaty at all times and full of aimbots. Truly miserable.

The squad spawning is so weird. Why can a clown car full of armed men crawl out of the ass of a single guy just because he ran away from a fight? The game forces your squad to not fully engage or risk being wiped, its always better to just send 3 and one hide. How dumb is that?

I rage uninstalled once already then gave it a second chance after chilling out, and it still just felt like a clusterfuck.

Also what the hell is with everyone having perfect aim and perfect awareness? I know its asia region but jesus christ its like they all have constant ESP and aimlock.

Am I just fucking doomed if I haven't spent the last 20 years playing FPS for 8 hours a day?

It's not just you. pic related are the launch maps. I dont think any bigger maps are coming. The game is designed to be a clusterfuck, I bet even firestorm is reduced by at least half in size

Squad spawning doesn't matter. respawn beacons are giga OP and you can just scatter them across every point and suicide/respawn 4 dudes to defend them at any point.

Even if there are big maps in BF6 they'll be broken up in a way that makes them play like medium maps at best. Operation Firestorm should be fine but don't be surprised if they pull the OOB area all the way in to focus the action.

Yeah Idk about the aim everyone seems to be a very seasoned players the skill level in FPS games sure is very high now as opposed to 10 years ago.
Now the ESP is explainable the game paints you on the mini map if you fire or if there is a motion sensor from a recon player in the area or just a recon player with a drone super skill running around those both reveal enemies on the mini map on top of that they spot when they aim at you lighting you up like a Christmas tree for everyone to gangbang. Then the injection of assault class gives a wallhack. So basically if you're attacking into a very defended position expect to be marked on the mini map.

Steam metrics are fucking useless for Call of Duty because most people play through battlenet or game pass because of the better performance.
What you're looking at is people that will literally refuse to use anything except Steam.
